Administration of Child Development Center under the Local Government Organization, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province.
Abstract
This article aimed tostudy the administrative conditions and to develop guidelines for the administration of the child development center under the local government organization in Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. The population included people involved in the education management of the child development center under the local government organization in Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province in the academic year 2023 consisted of 12 local government administrators in Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province, and 75 teachers/caregivers of the child development center under the local government organization in Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province, a total of 87 people, and 5 child care teachers with at least 5 years of experience in education management in an interview. The research tools were questionnaires and interviews. The statistics used in data analysis included the mean, percentage, standard deviation, and content analysis.
The results showed that the overall administration of the Child Development Center under the local government organization in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai, was at a moderate level. On a side-by-side basis, there was a high level of practice. The curriculum was at a moderate level, including the writing of experience plans, measurement and evaluation, and media and innovation in experience hosting. The organization of daily activities was at a low level. Guidelines for the development of school curriculum management of child development centers was that they should increase participation in the school curriculum preparation process. Child care teachers should write an experience plan and produce media and experience innovation based on the school curriculum. Measurement and evaluation should have criteria that emphasize the authentic assessment. The planning, implementation of the plan, monitoring, evaluation should be used to improve outcomes (PDCA) in the school readiness process.
